Mueller Earns All-America Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (SMU) - Mustang senior Christina Mueller capped her career with a fifth-place finish in the discus at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, June 13, earning All-America honors in the process. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (SMU) - Mustangs Simone du Toit and Christina Mueller both qualified for the discus finals at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, June 11. du Toit qualified fourth with a 53.07m throw, while Mueller was ninth at 51.18m. Fjortoft Qualifies For Steeplechase Final

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (SMU) - After a three-plus hour weather delay, SMU sophomore Silje Fjortoft qualified for the steeplechase final at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday, June 10. Fjortoft, running in heat one, was second in her race, crossing in 10:05.70 and trailing only defending NCA champion Jennifer Barringer of Colorado. The finals are set for Friday night.
