Shot a 4-under 68 in the final round to win the 99th Texas State Amateur... Came up one shot short in his bid to advance to the 2008 NCAA Men's Golf Championship, finishing tied for eighth at 6-under 207 for 54 holes at the NCAA Regionals... Claimed medalist honors at the Louisiana Classics, shooting 73-68-70... Runner-up at the Shocker Classic at 3-under 210... Took third at the UTSA Invite, shooting 67-67-71 to finish 11-under...
