DALLAS (SMU) - SMU season ticket holders and Mustang Club members can still get SMU-TCU single-game tickets from the SMU Ticket Office through an exclusive pre-sale until July 30. This pre-sale for the Sept. 24 DFW Duel presented by State Farm began on July 26 and precedes the public on-sale date of Aug. 2. Single-game tickets for all 2010 SMU football home games go on sale Aug. 2 at 10 a.m.

To take advantage of the pre-sale, season ticket holders need to call the SMU Ticket Office directly at 214-SMU-GAME (214-768-4263). Seat location will be subject to availability as tickets are going fast during the pre-sale. Prices for the DFW Duel presented by State Farm range from $25 to $45. Season tickets for the 2010 season start at as little as $72, and can be purchased through SMU Ticket Sales representatives or by logging on to SMUMustangs.com.

The Mustangs are coming off a 2009 campaign that saw them go 8-5 while claiming the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Championship and a Conference USA Western Division Co-Championship, while the Frogs, who enter the season ranked in the top 10, are coming off an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl.

The 2010 football home slate consists of six games. SMU's home-opener is Sept. 11 against Conference USA foe UAB. The Mustangs will then look to avenge an overtime loss from 2009 when Pac-10 member Washington State comes to Dallas on Sept. 18 for a CBS College-televised meeting. ESPN will come to Gerald J. Ford Stadium on Friday, Sept. 24, when rival TCU crosses the Metroplex for the annual DFW Duel presented by State Farm in a primetime, nationally-televised matchup. Tulsa then comes to Dallas for an Oct. 9 meeting with the Mustangs. After sharing the 2009 C-USA Western Division Championship, SMU and Houston will battle it out on the gridiron on Oct. 23 in Dallas in another CBS College-televised game, and SMU will host Marshall in its regular-season home finale on Nov. 20.

Also on Monday, SMU will open single-game ticket sales for men's and women's soccer and volleyball.

To order single-game tickets beginning Aug. 2, call the SMU Ticket Sales Office at 214-SMU-GAME (214-768-4263), log on to SMUMustangs.com or ticketmaster.com, or call Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
