NEW YORK (SMU) --- SMU men's basketball head coach Matt Doherty will be on ABC's "Road to March Madness", which airs on the network Saturday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. CT. Doherty will appear in studio with Bonnie Bernstein and Tom Brennan.

The in-studio segment was taped in the ABC studios in New York on Monday, Jan. 28. Part of the feature was also shot on-campus at SMU inside Moody Coliseum and during practice at the new Crum Basketball Center.

This is the first week for the show which will air each Saturday before ABC's coverage of NCAA basketball. This week's show also features segments on coach John Calipari and his top-ranked Memphis Tigers and head coach Billy Donovan and his two-time defending national champion Florida Gators.

The Mustangs next game is at Tulsa on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. The game is nationally televised on CSTV.
