ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast (SMU) --- Senegal's Nation Team along with SMU senior forward Mouhammad Faye have advanced to the 2009 FIBA African Championship from Aug. 5-15 in Libya. The Senegalese received a wild card invitation to the 16-nation field and will join Cameroon, Central Africa Republic and Congo in Group C. DAKAR, Senegal (SMU) --- SMU senior forward Mouhammad Faye has been named to the 2009 Senegal national team. The team will compete in the Zone 2 qualifying event of the 2009 African Championships from May 15-20 in Mali.
