Ross Parker is entering his fourth year as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at SMU. Parker designs and oversees the strength & conditioning programs for men's soccer, men's and women's swimming & diving and assists with football.

Prior to arriving at SMU, Parker served for one year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he implemented training programs for women's basketball, women's golf, women's lacrosse, men's and women's diving, wrestling, rowing, men's and women's cheer, men's tennis and gymnastics. Parker also worked for two years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Texas Tech.

Parker graduated from Texas Tech in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He is a USA Weightlifting-certified Sports Performance Coach and is a member of USA Weightlifting and the International Sport Science Association.
